BOMBSHELL: Obama Officials Accused of Faking Russia Intel — DOJ Launches Explosive Grand Jury Probe
In a political earthquake shaking Washington to its core, the U.S. Justice Department has reportedly launched a full-blown grand jury investigation into allegations that top Obama administration officials falsified intelligence about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
According to an August 5 Associated Press report, Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered federal prosecutors to take the explosive claims to a grand jury — a rare and powerful step in the American justice system that could lead to criminal charges against some of the most prominent figures in the Obama era.

FOX News confirmed that a federal prosecutor has been appointed to present evidence, while the Justice Department itself refused to comment. But former President Donald Trump wasted no time celebrating the move, posting on Truth Social:
“The truth always prevails. This is great news. God bless America.”
The allegations, first made public by U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on July 18, claim that Obama officials knowingly manipulated intelligence reports to make it appear as though Trump’s 2016 victory was driven by Russian meddling.
Gabbard accused Obama and his senior team of relying on the now-infamous dossier from British ex-spy Christopher Steele — despite allegedly knowing it was “unreliable.” Among the officials named in the explosive report: former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA chief John Brennan, and former FBI Director James Comey.

The Justice Department reportedly formed a special task force in late July to examine Gabbard’s evidence. Trump has gone even further, accusing Obama of orchestrating a “treasonous” plot to steal the 2016 election, calling for the harshest possible punishment.
Obama’s camp has fiercely denied the claims, dismissing them as “ridiculously outlandish” and a “feeble attempt to distract the public” — even pointing to the DOJ’s silence on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal as the real story worth attention.
The stakes are monumental. In 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies concluded that Russia had interfered in the election to help Trump, prompting Obama to expel Russian diplomats and slap sanctions on Moscow. A 2019 investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller also found “systematic and extensive” Russian interference, though it failed to prove Trump campaign collusion.
Now, with a grand jury set to dig into the evidence, America faces the prospect of a historic legal showdown that could rewrite the narrative of the 2016 election — and potentially tarnish the legacy of a former president.
If prosecutors move forward, the Obama-Trump political rivalry may explode into one of the most consequential legal battles in U.S. history.
